OKEGOAL.COM - Andre Onana's move to Manchester United will influence the career of Indonesian goalkeeper Emil Odero.
It is known that talks between Manchester United and Inter Milan are now starting to show positive results regarding the transfer of Andre Onana.
Although the Red Devils had previously faced two rejections from Inter Milan, Onana's move to Old Trafford was starting to open up.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the transfer agreement for Onana is expected to take place in the next few hours.
Italian media claims that Inter Milan will agree to the €55m fee offered by the Red Devils immediately.
“This is being addressed and will be announced within a few hours,” the outlet stated.
“The English club has a strict agreement in principle with the Cameroonian goalkeeper, on a five-year contract.”
He added, “Eric ten Hag's club is close to concluding an agreement with Inter Milan for a transfer fee of around 55 million euros and has a preliminary agreement with the goalkeeper himself.”
As for Gazzetta dello Sport (today's edition of the newspaper, p. 2) it also claims that “in a few hours there will be yes for 50 million euros plus bonuses”.
Another top-tier correspondent, Gianluca Di Marzio, said yesterday that it was “just a matter of time” before the deal reaches €55m.
This news will surely be a breath of fresh air for Man United fans.
Apart from Man United, Onana's move to the Premier League will also be good news for goalkeeper of Indonesian origin, Emil Odero.
The reason is that Inter Milan is rumored to clean goalkeepers, including second-division player Samir Handanovic.
This means Inter Nerazzurri will be looking for plenty of new goalkeepers.
Inter Milan has long been linked with a player of Indonesian origin, Emil Odero as a replacement for second-division goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
Quoted by Tuttosport.com, Sampdoria charge €8-10m for usual Emil Audero transfers.
Given that Emil Audero still has a contract with Sampdoria until June 30, 2026.
It is likely that Emil will agree to the deal.
