That’s all for today, goodbye!
That win means that Chelsea stay in fourth place, six points clear of West Ham below them. Tuchel will be hoping they can quickly put this behind them though as their attention turns to the FA Cup final against Leicester on Saturday. Arsenal leapfrog Everton into eighth and they have a week to wait until their next game against Crystal Palace.
Arsenal hold on to beat Chelsea 1-0 thanks to Smith Rowe’s first-half goal. Jorginho’s poor backpass had Kepa scrambling back to push it off the line, but Aubameyang was there to slot the rebound to Smith Rowe to set up a tap-in. In the second half, Pulisic had a header ruled out by VAR for offside. Zouma saw a late effort tipped onto the bar by Leno before Giroud fired a close-range shot against the woodwork on the follow-up, but Chelsea just couldn’t find a way through.
90′ + 8′ FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 0-1 ARSENAL.
90′ + 6′ BLOCK! Still, Chelsea push but they just can’t find a way past Arsenal’s defence. Ziyech cuts inside from the right and goes for goal from just outside the box. He’s trying to lift his shot over the defenders, but Gabriel is there to head it clear.
90′ + 4′ Arsenal break quickly on the counter and it looks like Partey is in on goal after being played in by Lacazette. He goes to ground easily under a challenge from Silva though and the referee books him for diving.
90′ + 2′ Arsenal are still stuck deep in their own half as Chelsea push for a late equaliser and Mount finds a pocket of space after turning away from Jorginho. He threads it through for Hudson-Odoi only for the offside flag to go up against him.
90′ GREAT SAVE! Chelsea are throwing everything they have at Arsenal, but their final ball into the box is really letting them down. Zouma rises high to head on James’ cross and Leno tips it onto the crossbar. Giroud follows it in and fires his shot on the turn, but it rebounds off the crossbar.
88′ Bellerin went down again and he’s not going to be able to carry on this time. He limps off the field and Chambers is coming on for the last few minutes.
86′ PULISIC! Giroud does well to keep the ball after Smith Rowe slides in and he squares it to Hudson-Odoi to set him off down the left. He curls an early cross into the box and Pulisic meets it on the stretch, but it’s a comfortable save for Leno at his near post.
84′ Bellerin has to go off after his treatment so Arsenal are a man down as Mount swings the corner into the box. It hits the first man, with Lacazette heading it clear, before the Bellerin is waved back onto the field.
83′ Bellerin stretched to reach James’ cross ahead of Hudson-Odoi and put it out for a corner, but has now gone down holding his knee. He landed awkwardly and Chambers is getting ready just in case he’s needed after Bellerin receives his treatment.
81′ James finds himself in a lot of space down the right again and he curls a great cross into the box to pick out Giroud. He gets caught under it but manages to glance his header on, but it bounces wide of the far post.
79′ Second change for Arsenal now and it’s like-for-like as Lacazette comes on in place of Aubameyang.
78′ Final roll of the dice for Chelsea as Azpilicueta makes way, with Ziyech on to replace him.
77′ Arsenal have all of their players back in and around their own box and Chelsea are struggling to find a way in behind them at the moment. Jorginho lays it off to Mount on the right, but his drilled cross is blocked by Holding.
75′ It’s a great run from Smith Rowe down the left as he drifts past Azpilicueta before cutting inside and driving into the box. He has James with him all the way though and in the end, can’t open up enough space for the shot.
73′ Hudson-Odoi turns away from Holding on the left and whips a good cross into the near post for Giroud. He gets goalside of Mari to flick it on, but it’s always curling away from the target.
71′ Tierney makes another good run down the left for Arsenal and this time he manages to fizz a low cross into the box. It’s behind Aubameyang, but he gets it through to Odegaard, who hits the shot first time, but it sails high over the bar.
70′ Mari hooks the ball clear on the edge of the box and Gabriel is waiting to bring it down on the left. Pulisic gets across to put him under pressure and hurts himself in the process as he clatters into the defender, but he gets back to his feet without needing treatment.
68′ Tierney goes long with his throw-in and picks out Odegaard’s late run through the middle. It almost catches Chelsea out as he sets himself for a shot on the edge of the box, but Zouma recovers quickly to get back and intercept it.
66′ Arsenal are making a change now as well and it’s Saka that’s making way for Bellerin.
65′ Second change for Chelsea now and it’s Havertz that’s going off for Giroud.
64′ Silva is there to intercept another Arsenal attack and his header sets Hudson-Odoi off on the counter. He plays an early throughball into James who has space down the right, but the offside flag goes up against him when he swings a cross into Chilwell.
62′ NO GOAL! It’s only a quick check from VAR and Pulisic wasn’t offside when the corner was initially taken, but he has strayed too far forward by the time Havertz flicked it on so this one won’t count. Still 1-0 Arsenal!
61′ PULISIC SCORES! The corner is whipped into the middle of the box by Mount again and Havertz rises highest to flick it on towards the far post. Nobody has picked up Pulisic’s run and he nods it over the line from close range but VAR is having a look at this…
60′ Arsenal are still being penned back in their own half and they just can’t find a way out. Mount is pushing forward down the right for Chelsea again but his cross is deflected out for a corner off Azpilicueta.
58′ Tierney was accidentally caught by a high boot on the side of his knee by Hudson-Odoi and he’s stayed down. He gets treatment for it and is quickly back to his feet, so he’ll be able to carry on.
56′ Jorginho sweeps the ball out to James, who is in space down the right again, and he curls a dangerous low cross into the six-yard box. It’s just out of Havertz’s reach at the near post and Leno is able to collect it.
54′ Chelsea are starting to find a bit more space down the right, with Hudson-Odoi and James linking up well. The substitute cuts inside and tries to set up Mount on the edge of the box, but Arsenal aren’t giving him any time on the ball and it’s blocked by Mari.
52′ Chelsea have lost each of their last eight Premier League games at Stamford Bridge when trailing at half-time, last winning from such a position in December 2013 against Southampton.
50′ Chelsea have made a great start to the second half and Arsenal haven’t been able to get out of their own half so far. Jorginho gets his head up and spots Hudson-Odoi’s run through the middle, but Gabriel gets ahead of him to head it clear.
48′ James fizzes a low cross into the box for Havertz and he spins towards goal before being crowded by four Arsenal defenders. He goes to ground under pressure from Gabriel, and there’s a half-hearted appeal for a penalty from him, but the referee waves play on.
46′ Chelsea get us back underway for the second half!
46′ Tuchel is making a change at the start of the second half as he brings on Hudson-Odoi for Gilmour.
Chelsea reacted well to going behind, but Tuchel will still want to see a big improvement when they come out after the break, especially in the final third. Arsenal were on the back foot for the majority of the first half, but they’ve looked good defensively so far but Arteta will know they’ll be in for a challenging second half.
A Chelsea mistake gives Arsenal a 1-0 lead at half-time. Jorginho played a blind backpass to Kepa which left the keeper scrambling back to his line to prevent an own goal, but Arsenal capitalised when Aubameyang was there to set up Smith Rowe for a tap-in. Chelsea grew into the game, without causing Leno too much trouble, with Mount having a couple of chances saved by the keeper.
45′ + 1′ HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 0-1 ARSENAL.
44′ Tierney intercepts another Chelsea attack down their right and decides to go it alone to get his side forward. He skips past Jorginho to get to the halfway line when he’s dispossessed by Silva and he’s asking for a free-kick, but nothing’s given.
42′ Gilmour finds himself in a lot of space in midfield again and he’s allowed to carry the ball a long way. His throughball picks out Pulisic who drives into the box, but Partey sticks out a foot to make an important interception.
40′ Still, Chelsea keep the pressure on Arsenal as Mount drives forward down the right again. Tierney makes another important block and touches it out to Smith Rowe, and the visitors have a breather after winning a free-kick for an Azpilicueta hand ball.
38′ Arsenal just can’t get out of their own half at the moment and Silva sets Chelsea on the counter after nicking it off Odegaard. He plays it through to Mount, whose cross picks out Chilwell on the left but he can’t find a way past Partey.
36′ CHANCE! Chilwell does well to keep hold of the ball under pressure from Saka and he drills in a low cross which is pushed away by Leno. He gives it straight to Mount though who tries to poke it on goal, but his effort is blocked by Elneny.
34′ After being on the back foot for the last few minutes, Arsenal are patiently trying to open up some space in behind Chelsea. Smith Rowe turns away from Jorginho before touching it onto Elneny, but he’s eventually crowded off the ball.
32′ Mount plays a very deep corner into the box and Zouma rises above Mari at the far post to head it on. Pulisic reaches it first, but he gets caught under the ball and his header ends up looping onto the roof of the net.
30′ Only Liverpool (nine) have made more errors leading to opposition goals in the Premier League this season than Chelsea (eight).
28′ SAVE! Havertz goes well to turn away from Elneny on the edge of the box and he touches it into Mount ahead of him. He sets himself before firing a shot across goal, but Leno is there to push it away.
26′ Chelsea are keeping the pressure on Arsenal here and Mount spots Jorginho in space on the edge of the box. He can’t find space for a shot so he tries to lift it over the top for James but just overhits the pass and it bounces straight out for a goal-kick.
24′ Aubameyang made his way to the side of the pitch to get some treatment after he was caught on his mouth and the referee spotted the cut was bleeding. He’s quickly patched up though and sent back out onto the field.
22′ BLOCK! It’s better from Chelsea now and Pulisic makes a driving run down the right and Azpilicueta slides it into him. He pulls it back from the byline for Mount in the middle, who hits the shot first time, but Mari is there to make an important block.
20′ Chelsea are trying to get themselves back into the game, but their passing is sloppy whenever they move out of their own half. Gilmour switches play out to Chilwell, who is in space on the left, but his first touch is poor and it bounces straight out.
18′ Chelsea just can’t deal with Arsenal’s high press at the moment and they’re almost caught out again as Odegaard wins it back in midfield. He spins and tries to lay it off to Saka, but Zouma is there to intercept it.
16′ Aubameyang gambled on something going wrong at the back for Chelsea and was there to make the most of it for Arsenal by pulling it back for Smith Rowe.
16′ SMITH ROWE SCORES! Jorginho plays a blind backpass to Kepa and the keeper has to scramble back to keep it from crossing the line. Aubameyang is there to latch onto the loose ball and pulls it back for Smith Rowe, who is left with a tap-in into the empty net. 1-0 Arsenal!
15′ The visitors are still moving the ball upfield quickly and Holding finds space down the right again. He spots Smith Rowe making a late run into the box from the left and tries to pick him out with a cross, but James is there to head it back to Kepa.
13′ Arsenal are moving the ball upfield quickly but Partey’s throughball into Saka is intercepted. The visitors keep hold of it through Odegaard, who switches play out to Holding on the right, but his cross is overhit and Aubameyang can’t get close to it.
11′ MISS! None of the Arsenal defenders spot Havertz’s run off the back of them and he’s teed up by Jorginho. He drives into the box and lifts his shot over Leno, who rushes off his line, but it’s too high and sails over the crossbar.
10′ Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight home Premier League matches against Arsenal (W6 D2), since losing 5-3 at Stamford Bridge in October 2011 under Andre Villas-Boas.
8′ Arsenal go long again, this time with Gabriel playing the long ball over the top to Aubameyang. The forward brings it down well before turning away from Azpilicueta to get into the box, but the offside flag is up against him.
6′ Chilwell steps away from Holding and slots the ball into Pulisic ahead of him on the left. There are no Chelsea players in the box, so he pulls it back for Mount, who hits an early low shot on goal, but it’s straight at Leno.
4′ It’s Chelsea’s turn to keep possession now and they’re keeping the visitors penned back in their own half. It’s patient play from them though as they try to open up some space in behind Arsenal.
2′ Arsenal are seeing a lot of the ball in the opening couple of minutes here and have already played a couple of long balls into Chelsea’s box. Aubameyang has chased them down, but they’ve been too far ahead of the forward.
1′ Odegaard gets the game underway for Arsenal!
