Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Bayern travel to face Mainz next and can clinch the title, while Leverkusen host Eintracht Frankfurt.
There goes the final whistle! Bayern’s early ruthlessness – going ahead through Choupo-Moting’s rebound volley and Kimmich’s first-time rocket inside the opening 13 minutes – put the hosts in the driving seat and Leverkusen rarely threatened for the rest of the contest, with Flick’s men dominant and controlled as they take a big step towards the Bundesliga title. It finishes 2-0 to Bayern!
90′ + 4′ FULL-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 2-0 BAYER LEVERKUSEN
90′ + 2′ A lovely cross from the left is nearly met by Goretzka at the back post, but the midfielder is inches away from making contact with the ball and it curls out of play for a goal-kick.
90′ There will be three minutes of time added on. Leverkusen need a miracle to salvage anything from this game now.
88′ Scott cuts in from the left and thumps an effort at goal, but Tah gets his body in the way and deflects it behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
86′ MISS! What a miss from Tapsoba! Leverkusen work a corner short before delivering to the far post where Tah gets above Sarr to nod across goal for his team-mate, but the defender somehow fires over the bar from six yards out! The offside flag is then raised, however, to spare Tapsoba’s blushes.
83′ Meanwhile, Wolf makes a change at left wing-back, swapping Sinkgraven for Wendell.
82′ The second change sees Musiala replaced by another youngster in 18-year-old Scott.
82′ Flick makes a late double-substitution, replacing Pavard with Sarr at right-back for the final few minutes.
80′ SAVE! Musiala comes in off the left and plays a lovely one-two with Choupo-Moting as the latter backheels into the former’s path, but Hradecky gets down sharply to hold the youngster’s strike!
78′ OVER! The ball pops out to Sane, arriving in the box on the right and the substitute hits it with his left first-time, but leans back and smashes it miles over the bar! He had to do better from that range!
76′ SAVES! Amiri gets to the edge of the area before striking a sweet, dipping effort towards the top-right corner that Neuer has to tip over the bar! The corner is taken short and worked to Bellarabi, who smacks one at goal from a tight angle, but Neuer keeps that out as well!
74′ WIDE! Musiala drives dangerously to the edge of the box, bursting past several players before unleashing a fierce drive that flies agonisingly wide of the post!
72′ Bayern could become the first side that Leverkusen lose 50 Bundesliga games against – the Bavarians are the only team that Leverkusen have lost more than half their top-flight matches against (59%, 49 of 83). They have a little under 20 minutes of normal time left to prevent that from happening.
70′ Wolf makes a positive change now, replacing Bender with an extra midfielder in Amiri.
70′ CROSSBAR! Bailey breaks down the left at speed and Bayern are caught out of position. The winger hits the byline and fires across goal for Bellarabi, but the substitute fires into the ground and sees his shot come off the bar! Seconds later he gets a second opportunity, but his effort bounces just wide of the far corner!
68′ OVER! A corner is half-cleared as far as Sane, lurking on the edge of the area. The substitute takes the shot on first-time, but just gets under it and fires narrowly over the bar!
66′ NO GOAL! Kimmich lofts the ball over the top for Choupo-Moting, who races into the box and slots past Hradecky at the near post, but the flag goes up for offside and the goal won’t stand!
63′ Leon Goretzka comes on as Muller takes a breather.
63′ The third change sees Coman go off for Sane in a like-for-like change on the flank.
63′ Flick offsets that attacking change by replacing Muller with young centre-back Kouassi in his second alteration.
60′ Wolf makes another change now, replacing Aranguiz with Demirbay in the centre of midfield.
57′ The flag goes up twice in the space of two minutes as Choupo-Moting and Bailey are both caught offside as they looked to run in behind.
55′ Coman has another go, this time from outside the box, but his effort strikes Tah and goes behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.
53′ NO PENALTY! Kimmich is given space outside the box and he takes a touch before firing a powerful effort at goal that strikes the arm of Tapsoba and is deflected behind! However, the defender had his arm down by his side and the referee awards a corner instead of a spot-kick!
51′ Coman and Musiala have switched flanks and the former cuts in from the left before unleashing an effort at goal from just inside the box, but he leans back and sends it high over the bar!
49′ Bayern have now scored in each of their last 31 Bundesliga home games against Leverkusen – they’ve only ever managed longer scoring runs at home to Hamburg (currently 39 games) in their Bundesliga history.
46′ We’re back underway for the second half!
46′ Young right-back Frimpong is the second player to be replaced, with Wirtz coming on for him.
46′ Wolf makes a double-change at the break, with Diaby going off for Bellarabi on the right wing in the first alteration.
Flick can be pleased at how efficient his side have been so far and their two-goal cushion has not come under a great deal of threat so far. Wolf will certainly be demanding more urgency from his men in the second half, as Leverkusen have been far too passive to this point.
There goes the half-time whistle! Bayern’s ruthless start to the game saw them take an early lead through Choupo-Moting, who volleyed in the rebound after Muller’s effort was saved with less than seven minutes played. Kimmich doubled the hosts’ tally just six minutes later, thumping a fierce effort in from the edge of the box. A shell-shocked Leverkusen have struggled to respond, managing just one shot on target in that half. It’s 2-0 to Bayern at the break!
45′ HALF-TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 2-0 BAYER LEVERKUSEN
43′ SAVE! Great save from Hradecky! Alaba steps up to a free-kick to the right of goal and whips his effort towards the top-right corner, but the Leverkusen shot-stopper gets across and palms it aside at full stretch!
41′ A couple of sloppy fouls from forwards have slowed the tempo of the game down now. Bayern are in no hurry to speed things up again.
39′ Musiala gets down the left again and lashes across goal from a tight angle, but Hradecky stands up at his near post and catches the ball assertively.
37′ BLOCK! Bayern break with fluidity and work the ball smoothly forward to Musiala on the left, who glides to the edge of the box before cutting onto his right and pulling the trigger, but he’s charged down and the shot is blocked away!
35′ SAVE! Kimmich unleashes another thunderbolt, this time from outside the box, and Hradecky can’t hold it, parrying into the danger zone where Choupo-Moting slides in to try and divert it on target, but can only prod the ball wide!
33′ The offside flag spares Coman’s blushes after the winger’s sloppy pass allowed Leverkusen to break, but Bailey is just caught off as he made a run in behind.
31′ SAVE! An intricate move from the right doesn’t quite come off as Muller’s pass is blocked and comes out to Alaba just outside the box. The Austrian adjusts his body and fires at goal first-time, but Hradecky is positioned well to make the save!
29′ Muller does superbly to retain possession after winning it with an inch-perfect tackle before being dispossessed and then immediately winning it back again and beating his marker.
27′ BLOCK! Alaba lines one up from outside the box and catches his shot sweetly, but Bender sticks out a leg and deflects the effort just over the bar and onto the roof of the net!
25′ Davies uses his searing pace to press Frimpong in his own third as he tries to pass the ball back to his goalkeeper, who is then forced to simply hoof the ball out of play as he is also closed down.
23′ Boateng makes a mess of a clearance on the halfway line, hooking the ball back into a Leverkusen player rather than putting it into touch and allowing the visitors to break, but Bayern just about scramble enough men back to put a stop to the danger.
21′ SHOTS! Musiala wriggles his way to the edge of the box and lashes an effort at goal, but it takes a deflection that takes the sting out of the shot and Hradecky can collect it. Leverkusen then break and Schick is released down the left to go one-on-one with Neuer, but his strike across goal is tame and the Bayern keeper gets down and holds on!
19′ Muller goes for goal from distance after good work from Coman down the right, but the German’s shot is charged down and blocked away.
17′ Leverkusen try to break through Bailey, but Diaby’s return pass to the winger is poor and the attack breaks down on the edge of the Bayern box.
15′ Bayern have been ruthless in these opening exchanges and Leverkusen now have a mountain to climb. A few visiting players’ heads have dropped already.
13′ GOAL!!! BAYERN DOUBLE THEIR LEAD!! Sinkgraven fails to deal with a cross from the Bayern left and his poor touch sees the ball fall into the path of Kimmich on the edge of the box, and the midfielder blasts it first-time across goal and in past Hradecky! What a hit! It’s 2-0 to Bayern already!
11′ WIDE! Bayern advance down their left before working the ball across to Coman, who has drifted in from the right to the edge of the area. The winger tries to curl into the far corner with his weaker left foot, but doesn’t catch it right and sends the effort wide!
9′ Bayern have now scored in each of their last 43 Bundesliga games, which is the longest ongoing run in the league. They’ve only netted in more consecutive matches between April 2012 and March 2014 (65 games – a Bundesliga record).
7′ GOAL!!! BAYERN TAKE THE LEAD!! Alaba flights a lovely cross from the left towards Muller at the back post, who diverts it at goal on the volley but is denied by Hradecky! It rebounds to Choupo-Moting in the middle, however, and he takes one touch to keep it airborne and smacks a volley at goal that deflects in off Bender! It’s 1-0 to Bayern!
6′ NO PENALTY! Schick drops deep and links play well before Bailey is released in behind and into the box down the left. He finds himself one-on-one with Neuer, who rushes out to smother it and the Leverkusen winger goes down, but the goalkeeper got the ball and no spot-kick is awarded!
5′ Bailey drives inside from the left and gets to the edge of the box before drilling a low effort at goal, but it takes a deflection that sees it loop harmlessly into the air before Bayern get it clear.
3′ Alaba surges through midfield with the ball as Bayern look to exploit the space in behind Leverkusen’s high line. Choupo-Moting wants the pass early but the Austrian holds onto it and picks out Muller on the edge of the box instead, who lets it run for Coman. The winger drives into the box, but dallies on the ball and is closed down and dispossessed.
1′ We’re underway at the Allianz Arena!
Wolf has picked up seven points from his first three Bundesliga games in charge of Leverkusen (W2, D1) since replacing Peter Bosz. The last Leverkusen coach to manage this was Roger Schmidt in 2014/15 (also seven points).
Flick has taken charge of 53 Bundesliga matches at Bayern, averaging 2.49 points per game. In league history, Pep Guardiola (2.52 points per game in 102 games) is the only head coach with a better return (minimum two matches managed).
Meanwhile, Leverkusen interim boss Hannes Wolf makes three changes despite his side’s 3-0 victory over Cologne last time out. Jedvaj, Wendell and Amiri are named among the substitutes tonight, with Tah, Sinkgraven and Frimpong coming in to replace them.
Bayern manager Hansi Flick makes just one change to the side that beat Wolfsburg 3-2 on Saturday. Sane drops to the bench, with Coman taking his place on the wing. Top scorer Robert Lewandowski is still out injured, meaning Choupo-Moting continues to lead the line.
Bayer Leverkusen substitutes: Karim Bellarabi, Nadiem Amiri, Lucas Alario, Florian Wirtz, Kerem Demirbay, Wendell, Aleksandar Dragovic, Tin Jedvaj, Lennart Grill.
Bayer Leverkusen XI (3-4-3): Lukas Hradecky; Jonathan Tah, Sven Bender, Edmond Tapsoba; Jeremie Frimpong, Charles Aranguiz, Exequiel Palacios, Daley Sinkgraven; Moussa Diaby, Patrik Schick, Leon Bailey.

Bayern will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table as they close in on the title, while Leverkusen will be looking to keep the pressure on Borussia Dortmund as they aim for a European qualifying spot.
