There are two epic fixtures taking place in the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday.
Follow it all with our live blog below.
All times CET
Scorers: Mahrez 7′, Bernardo Silva 17′, 44′, Foden 32′, Sterling 58′
22:55 – FULL-TIME! Late drama in the French capital and PSG have won it.
22:52 – GOAL PSG! It’s the 94th minute and finally the breakthrough! And it comes from who else but Kylian Mbappé! Absolute scenes in Paris.
22:51 – There will be four minutes of added time in Paris.
22:50 – Into the dying minutes now and the PSG fans are getting restless. They know what a missed opportunity this could be.
22:48 – Manchester City have taken their foot off the gas in Lisbon, meaning Sporting only have to come back from 5-0 down in the second leg. Could happen.
22:47 – A decent half-chance falls to Neymar but Courtois came out quickly to close down the angle, and the Brazilian could only dink his effort across the face of goal.
22:43 – PSG have had 19 attempts at goal, Real Madrid have had just three, but to repeat, it’s still 0-0.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has ended his goal drought to put Manchester United ahead against Brighton in the Premier League.
22:38 – Close! Messi and Mbappé have both just gone inches away from scoring in quick succession, but it’s still 0-0.
22:34 – Neymar is back from injury and on as a sub for PSG. The Parc des Princes has erupted. Can he make the difference?
22:31 – Just under 20 minutes to go in both games. City are casually knocking the ball around in Lisbon, while PSG and Real Madrid are still finding chances hard to come by in Paris.
22:26 – Messi has apparently now equalled Thierry Henry’s record for most missed penalties in Champions League history with five. We suspect he won’t be telling his grandchildren about that record.
22:20 – MESSI MISSES A PENALTY FOR PSG! It looked like the deadlock was finally going to be broken in Paris when Carvajal brought down Mbappé in the box and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
But Lionel Messi’s tame effort was saved well by Thibaut Courtois, and it’s still 0-0. Crazy times.
22:17 – GOAL MANCHESTER CITY! There’s the fifth goal, and there’s no disallowing that one. For the second match running Raheem Sterling has scored a golazo, and this one was even better than his strike against Norwich on Saturday.
22:16 – Ferland Mendy has now been booked for Real Madrid meaning, like Casemiro, he will be suspended for the second leg.
22:11 – Almost the breakthrough in Paris as Mbappé forces Courtois into a spectacular save before Messi fires the rebound over. That’s as close as either side has come to scoring.
22:09 – DISALLOWED GOAL! City thought they’d gone 5-0 up in Lisbon and Bernardo thought he’d completed his hat-trick, but his near post header was ruled out by VAR for offside. Mercy for Sporting.
22:05 – SECOND HALF BEGINS! We’re back under way. Let’s hope for some goals in Paris and for Sporting’s sake, a quiet second half in Lisbon.
22:02 – Man City made a little bit of history in that first half in Lisbon. Read more here.

21:49 – This just about sums up Real Madrid’s first half.
— OptaJean (@OptaJean) February 15, 2022
21:49 – HALF-TIME! We’ve reached the halfway stage in both games and while the game in Paris has been disappointing so far, Manchester City have provided us with plenty of entertainment in Lisbon.
21:44 – GOAL MANCHESTER CITY! We’re not even a quarter of the way through this tie but it might just be over already. Bernardo Silva has scored his second of the night to make it 4-0 to the visitors.
As an ex-Benfica player, Bernardo will be loving this. The home fans not so much.
21:43 – Marco Verratti has also now been booked for PSG.
21:41 – The removal of the away goals rule has not been popular with everyone.
Real Madrid playing for a 0-0 here. I’ve never seen them play so defensively. UEFA need to come up with some way to incentivise attacking play from the away side in knockout games
— Michael Cox (@Zonal_Marking) February 15, 2022
21:39 – Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has just been booked, meaning he’ll be suspended for the second leg in Madrid.
21:35 – Lionel Messi has been quiet in Paris so far but he burst into life with a dribble into the box followed by a shot a few moments ago. It went harmlessly wide, however.
21:32 – GOAL MANCHESTER CITY! Just when it looked like Sporting were starting to threaten, it’s 3-0 to City. The defenders stood off Mahrez and let him cross in from the left, and the ball somehow made its way to Phil Foden to finish with ease. Poor defending, and City are cruising.
21:30 – It’s still 2-0 to Manchester City in Lisbon but Sporting are looking fairly dangerous on the break.
Real Madrid are struggling to get a foothold in the game in Paris, with Mbappé and Mendes giving Carvajal a torrid time down that left flank.
21:25 – Mahrez sure loves the Champions League.
— UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) February 15, 2022
21:25 – Real Madrid are just about keeping PSG at bay for now. The hosts have had four corners already tonight, but are yet to make any of them count.
Real Madrid look like a lower league side just trying to keep up with the pace and avoid conceding a goal in a third round FA Cup tie.
— Stefan Bienkowski (@SBienkowski) February 15, 2022
21:20 – PSG are well on top in Paris but it’s still 0-0 there. Kylian Mbappé just forced Thibaut Courtois into a decent stop before Eder Militao almost scored an own goal from the resulting corner.
21:17 – GOAL MANCHESTER CITY! And it’s a stunning half-volley from Bernardo Silva to put them 2-0 up in Lisbon. It dropped to him from a corner and he rattled his shot in off the crossbar.
I feel as though I’ve said this before… Bernardo Silva OH MY what a finish 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 @ManCity

21:14 – A reminder that away goals DON’T count double in the Champions League this season. It’s going to take some getting used to.
21:13 – Over in Paris, PSG have made a bright start and went close to the opener when Kylian Mbappé did well to pick out Angel Di María after five minutes, but the Argentine could only slam over the bar.
21:07 – GOAL MANCHESTER CITY! City take the lead in Lisbon when Phil Foden’s initial effort is saved by the goalkeeper and Kevin De Bruyne tees up Riyad Mahrez for a tap-in. The flag initially went up for offside but after a long VAR check, the goal is given. 1-0.
21:02 – As you’d expect, Manchester City’s ex-Benfica contingent are being jeered by the Sporting crowd.

Messi had 26 goals and 14 assists in 45 games v Madrid with Barca. But no goals or assists in any of the last seven, back to May 2018.
— Dermot Corrigan (@dermotmcorrigan) February 15, 2022
20:15 – There’s also a Premier League game going on tonight, with Manchester United hosting Brighton at Old Trafford.
20:13 – Here’s PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi not mincing his words when it comes to tonight’s opponents and last year’s European Super League saga.
🎙| Nasser al-Khelaïfi: “I’m not going to hide it, we have almost no relationship with Real Madrid. I’m not going to go back on what happened. I believe in accessible football for small clubs, they don’t think the same.” @CanalSupporters
